Celebrate the Journey

Fitzhugh Mullan was a physician, author, editor and civil rights advocate. He survived cancer in mid-life to serve many years in public health, rising to be the US Assistant Surgeon General. He was a professor at George Washington University and later founded the Beyond Flexner Alliance, an organization promoting health equity and education.
