Stone’s Throw’s mission is to create employment opportunities for individuals with special needs.

This small rescue’s mission is to save the most at-risk dogs in North Texas.
They manage to do that and more! They have lovingly fostered, rehomed, and provided medical support for cats, dogs of all kinds, and even pigs. They rely solely on donations and volunteers to accomplish their goals.

Mind Your Garden Urban Farm
MYG’s mission is to provide healthy home-grown food and educational services to Fort Worth urban communities. They literally are an oasis inside a “food desert”. They are ambassadors of healthy lifestyle choices encouraging others to join them by sharing gardening tips, recipe ideas, and cooking techniques. They rely on volunteers to help around the farm and donations to keep things going.

Benbrook Public Library
BPL is a unique library district, one of only 15 in Texas, which allows BPL to be completely focused on the local community needs. They have been providing a great variety of services since 1988 supplementing their funds through grants and public donations. Everyone can benefit from something that this library provides. If you haven’t been there, you are missing out.
BPL has outgrown the current location and is raising funds for a new building.
